CEO
After being away for three years, Willem rejoined the company in January 2011. In the late nineties, he had identified the developing need for a high end business jet operator in the Netherlands, ultimately resulting in the founding of JetNetherlands in 2001. He has a background as a pilot and flight instructor in both the Royal Netherlands Navy and the Royal Netherlands Air Force, where he also served as Head of Air Transport in the Air Force staff in the Hague. In recent years, Willem has further broadened his management experience by working for and with other business aviation companies.

Maintenance Manager
Herman is our Maintenance Manager and has recently joined our team. He is responsible for the maintenance status of all of the aircraft in the fleet. Herman is an aviation professional with 27 years of experience with a thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance, servicing and engineering derived from various positions in aircraft manufacturing, airline maintenance management and the aircraft completion and conversion industry. He gained international experience while living and working in Asia for several years. His knowledge and background makes him ideally qualified to further develop and safeguard our asset management to high industry standards.

Manager of Flight Operations
Our Manager of Flight Operations is Marco Rietvelt. As well as extensive aviation experience as a pilot and instructor on various military airplanes, Marco also flies as an active pilot on large commercial jets. After a military career he worked for several years at the CAA Netherlands as flight operations inspector. He is the owner of an aviation consultancy bureau, ‘Volantes BV’.

Manager Sales
Rieko is our Manager Sales who joined JetNetherlands early 2011. With 18 years of aviation experience he has seen many aspects of aviation. Rieko flew for 6 years in the Royal Netherlands Air Force as Loadmaster.  After leaving the forces he worked in several operational and commercial positions with Commercial airlines and General Aviation through Europe.

Ground Operations Manager
Michiel is our Ground Operations Manager. With more than ten years experience of airline operations, he began his career at the Royal Netherlands Airforce as a flight dispatcher. After his military career, Michiel  worked for several airlines, but always in an operational environment. Michiel joined JetNetherlands in 2007

Owner of AZ Exclusive Travel
Pieter Zandvliet started his career in the travel industry, then after five years he made the switch to business aviation. There he worked on the Operations & Sales department for 25 years. Fifteen years ago he founded his company AZ Exclusive Travel, which offers a total service program for users of private jets.
