Compensate for your greenhouse gas emissions
Our customers are concerned about emitting CO₂ and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, and so is JetNetherlands. This has prompted us to set up our own climate neutral program in collaboration with GreenSeat. By allowing you to voluntarily compensate for the greenhouse gases your flight emits, we are now able to offer climate neutral charter flights.
GreenSeatOur program has been set up in collaboration with GreenSeat, thereby linking fuel usage to greenhouse emissions and a market price. The GreenSeat projects are focused on reducing the need to use fossil fuels and coming up with clean renewable energy to replace them. We measure our emissions by monitoring our fuel usage. Then we allow our charter customers to compensate for these emissions by investing in projects aimed at replacing fossil fuels with more sustainable energy sources. GreenSeat manages these projects in various countries around the world, and so, together with other companies that are serious about reducing greenhouse gasses we try to build a more sustainable world.
